Taulman 3D was founded with the intent to provide an industry standard to 3D printers for engineered materials. The primary goal of taulman3D has always been to provide the designer, engineer, hobbyist, inventor and artist with the strongest material available for their FFM 3D printing needs. To meet that goal is not just to provide the best, but to also insure access from the largest industrial customer to the young student in his or her garage. Today's young designers are printing their ideas. With high strength materials, they will soon be printing Robots... and these robots won't be the "Wind-Up Toys" of the 1950's!
As components, parts, gadgets and assemblies continue to decrease in size, the need for higher strength materials that can meet the demands of designers, as well as stand up to the abuse of the real world, continues to grow. Watching the progress of FFF 3D Printing, Taulman 3D saw a need to increase the number of options for designers, engineers and artists in the materials selection process.
Taulman 3D develops and test hundreds of possible polymers and copolymers in an effort to bring a specific feature list to the 3D Printing community. When Taulman 3D believes they have a significant development, rather than just release and let the community determine acceptance, they send out hundreds of free samples to professionals worldwide and correlate comments, as well as requested changes. If the people testing the Taulman 3D filament believe a material is not mature, the material is completely reevaluated directly back to the basic chemistry of the material. When the material has been modified, the samples are sent out again and the process starts all over.
Taulman 3D is dedicated to strive for the highest quality engineered filament available in the industry – they don’t rush products to market, and they make sure that when you print with one of their filaments, you will experience fantastic results!
